Kenton Boys 8th Basketball beats Bath 38 – 27

The Kenton boys 8th grade team defeated Bath Thursday night with a great team effort. We’ve played many great halves and several great quarters but last night was a 4 quarter effort by everyone. 

Leading the way for the Wildcats was Tanner Butcher with 14 points. Issac Gordon and Xavier Gammon both chipped in 7. Layton Hijma and Kayne Bushong each added 4 and Parker Osborn had 2 to round out the scoring. Gordon led us with 8 rebounds, Butcher added 4 and Gammon 2. Gammon led in assists with 3, Butcher and Osborn each had 1. Bushong, Butcher and Osborn each had 2 steals while Gordon and Mason Rish each had 1. The Wildcats had 11 turnovers which was a key despite being pressed all night long. Next up is St Marys next Tuesday at home.
