Kenton Boys 8th Grade Basketball beats Celina Senior 56 – 35

The 8th grade boys kept their momentum going with a 56-35 win over Celina. The 56 points represents the highest offensive output of the season. In addition we shot our highest shooting percentage and lowest turnovers of the season. 

Xavier Gammon led the way for the Wildcats with 15 points. Parker Osborn added 10, Kayne bushong 8, layton Hijma 7, Zaiden Wyomic 6, Isaac Gordon and Tanner Butcher each had 4, and Mason Rish 2 to round out the scoring. 

Gordon led in rebounds with 6, Butcher 3, Osborn, Hijma, and Gammon all had 2 each. Butcher and Gammon both had 2 assists, Gammon and Hijma 1 each. Parker and Gammon both forced 2 turnovers and Bushong and Hijma forced 1 each. The Wildcats return to action next Tuesday agaist Spencerville at home.
