Kenton Boys Basketball Team Has a True Snow Day on Tuesday

The Kenton High School Boys Basketball team had a very busy day on Tuesday.

It was a true snow day for the team as school was cancelled, and they spent the day shoveling sidewalks around town.

They received over 230 requests and got to as many of them as possible, which was around 160.

The work was done free of charge.

Despite being frozen at the end of the day, they said it was well worth it to see the smiles on the faces of the people they helped.

A local citizen decided to reward their effort by paying for their lunch.

The team members are : Jayden Cornel, Carter Hydinger, Corbin Johnston, Kooper Johnston, Jarret Jolliff, Tyson Lawrence, Cam Pulfer, Gunner Stout and Zach Swaney.

The parents of the boys supplied the shovels and snow blowers.
