Kenton Boys Varsity Bowling rallies for WBL win over Ottawa-Glandorf 2941 – 2931

The Kenton Wildcats and Ottawa-Glandorf Titans volleyed back in forth throughout the match until the Wildcats were able to rally to defeat Ottawa 2941 – 2931.

Kenton took a 19 pin lead after the 1st individual games 995 – 976. The Titans responded in the 2nd individual games with a 1044 to Kenton’s 995 to lead Kenton 1990 – 2020. Kenton won 2 of the next 3 baker games to cut the lead to 16 pins. Unfortunately in Game 4, Kenton struggled and entered Game 5 behind by 49 pins. The Wildcats put together a 211 baker to Ottawa’s 152 to take the come from behind victory by 10 pins. The 2941 is a school record for total pins.

Kenton got three 400 series’ in the match. Hudson Latimore 468 (225 – 243), Eban Albert 458 (236 – 222) and Jesse Harrison 429 (231 – 198).

The jv team lost to O-G.  Kenton was led by Parker Benson 321 series (169 – 152).  Parker Gierhart added a 296 series (124 – 172) including high game.
