Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis opens WBL play losing to St. Mary’s Memorial 4 – 1
Seth Spencer was the lone victor Thursday as the Kenton Wildcats hosted St. Mary’s to open the WBL season. The Mustangs won the other 2 singles and both doubles, defeating the Wildcats 1-4.
1st Singles: Wyatt Campbell lost to Jake Ackroyd 2-6, 0-6
2nd Singles: Cale Harshfield lost to Noah White 0-6, 0-6
3rd Singles: Seth Spencer defeated Nicholas Dietz 6-0, 7-5
1st Doubles: Braylon Smith & Ethan McNamara lost to Ollie Chisholm & Hunter Winget 2-6, 1-6
2nd Doubles: Brian Rogers & Jack Whitmer lost to Clay Milner & Korey Klosterman 2-6, 2-6
The Wildcats host Shawnee Friday @ 4:30pm.
