Kenton BPA Students Excel at Regional Leadership Conference, Earn Spot at State Competition in Columbus

The Kenton High School Business Professionals of America chapter competed against 10 schools and 600 students at the BPA Regional Leadership Conference held at Ohio Northern University earlier this month.

The conference showcased the talents and skills of students in a variety of business-related competitions.

Kenton High School achieved remarkable success, with several students qualifying for the state competition.

Co-advisor Wes Goldsmith said the students competed with heart and demonstrated exceptional talent.

The State Leadership Conference will be held in Columbus on March 10th and 11th.

State Qualifiers:

  • Katerina Jakesova: 1st Place in Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications
  • Ben Dilts, Jaycob Francis, Kelton Spearman, Cameron Jesionowski: 1st Place in Computer Animation Team
  • Kate Jakesova, Hadis Jumakhonov, Carter Cannode: 1st Place in Global Marketing Team
  • Anden Goldsmith: 3rd Place in Entrepreneurship
  • Keirston Burton: 4th Place in Medical Coding
  • Andrea Miranda Escobar: 4th Place in Health Insurance and Medical Billing
