Last week, the Kenton High School cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association camp at Bowling Green State University. The Lady Cats went home with 1st place in their Rally Routine. Additionally, the ladies received the leadership award – an award voted on by their camp peers determining the cheerleading squad that exhibited the most leadership qualities at camp. Individual awards were also awarded, as two cheerleaders earned the title UCA All-American Cheerleader (Paige Osborn & Erin Lyons), as well as two “Pin it Forward” Recipients (Alyssa McLaughlin and Aubrey Thrush). Paige Osborn also won the camp-wide jump off.
