Kenton City Council will be hosting a comprehensive presentation by Bricker Graydon this evening prior to the regular session.
It is being held as the city explores the potential benefits and challenges of becoming a charter city.
Bricker Graydon is a firm specializing in municipal governance.
The presentation is set to take place starting at 5:30 this evening in the Kenton City Building.
It is open to all community members and will offer a valuable opportunity to learn and engage with experts in the field.
At the regular meeting that follow, three resolutions are on first reading.
One of them deals with requesting the Hardin County Auditor to certify the current tax valuation of the city and the revenue that would be generated by a 4.6 mill additional levy for fire and police protection.
One ordinance and one resolution are on second reading, and an ordinance to change the zoning of property at 209 North Leighton Street from R-1 to R-2 is on third and final reading.
