The Kenton City Schools will start face-to-face instruction five days a week on January 4, 2021.

The following letter was sent to parents of the district:

We will continue to evaluate our situation on a daily basis, and communicate any changes in our instructional model as soon as possible. Extracurriculars and athletics will also continue under the current operational standards.

Please watch your ParentSquare communications for information from your building principals and teachers. As always, if this decision creates a significant hardship for your family, please contact your building principal for help in making the appropriate accommodations. We also have tutoring available to support students and families. To participate in tutoring, please contact your building principal.

We want to thank our KCS school community for keeping us informed of health related issues, such as a student having symptoms or someone in the household being tested or testing positive for COVID-19. By getting us the information as soon as possible, we are able to take the necessary steps to support the safety of our school community. Please continue to communicate with us. If you have questions or need to report a COVID-19 related concern in your household, please contact your building principal or Mindy Hensel, RN BSN, KCS COVID-19 Coordinator, at the Wildcat Health Clinic.
