Kenton Falls to Coldwater in Season Opener

The Coldwater Cavaliers defeated the Kenton Wildcats 44-14 Friday at Cavalier Stadium.

Korbin Johnston threw 2 touchdown passes for the Wildcats, connecting for scores with Jarrett Jolliff and Tim Wilkinson.

Zach Heintz was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.

The Wildcats are back in action Friday when they visit Elida in their Western Buckeye League opener.

WKTN will carry the game live, with the pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
