Kenton Girls 8th Grade Volleyball falls to Lima Central Catholic 2-1

The Lady Wildcats lost a heart-breaker of a match to LCC 10-25, 25-17, 22-25.

Kenton played a much improved defense against LCC in set 1 but just couldn’t get their offense going.  Set 2 was a different story as Sidney Payne served up the 1st 12 points of the match and Kenton’s offense came alive for the 25-17 victory.

Set 3 was an exciting back and forth affair until LCC scored the last 3 points to hand Kenton the loss.

Sidney Payne served 14 points and had 4 kills, Karyn Hopkins served 7 points, Ady Osborn served 6 points, Jude Sprang served 3 points.Olivia Grasley has a block and a kill, Aryanna Gradick had 6 assists and a kill, and Kylie Adams had a kill.

The Lady Wildcats are off until Tuesday September 13 at St Marys.
