Kenton Girls Tennis team is nipped by Fostoria
Kenton’s second doubles team of Marissa Fox and Katie Lowe won a thrilling 3 set match with a scores of 6-3,4-6, 7-5. The first doubles team of Lydia Lambert and McKenna Stanforth had a close match, but eventually lost 4-6,3-6.
Presley Wilson, third singles, upped her record to 2-1 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over her opponent. Amanda Van Horn fell 0-6,1-6 at second singles. Lilly Carmean played a two hour match and lost in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 4-6.
Kenton returns to play tomorrow, Thursday, August 22nd for a WBL match-up with last year’s co-champ in the WBL, Ottawa-Glandorf, at 4:30 pm. The match is at Kenton.
