Volunteer Manager/Coordinator

Kenton Hardin Health Department is seeking a part time contracted Volunteer Manager/Coordinator.

Minimal qualification include a high school diploma.

Must be a good communicator with speaking, writing, and active listening skills. The person would be expected to contact local service groups, schools, church groups, or other entities who might be able to provide volunteers for COVID vaccination clinics.
The person would be expected to maintain contacts with various groups or individuals to identify volunteers needed on a regular basis and to compile a list of volunteers for each vaccination clinic event. The person might also be asked to assist in supervising volunteers during vaccination clinics. The person would be expected to work most or all of the hours in our office making and receiving telephone calls, except for activities at vaccination sites, and may be asked to fulfill other duties as assigned.

Past management experience would be preferred.
