Kenton Lions Club Met Wednesday Evening

The Kenton Lions club met Wednesday evening at the Elks.  

The meeting was opened with guest speaker, Kenton City School Superintendent Chad Thrush, who shared information about the Kenton City School levy, that included the funding process and timeline.  

A question and answer period followed his presentation.  

Lions members then passed a motion supporting the Kenton City School levy.  

An update on planning for the Christmas parade was provided by Lion Jason Van Buskirk.  

Planning will also start for the Children’s Bowling Event with Santa.  

Kenton Lions voted 2 new members into the club.  

They are Lion David Dulin and Lion Joe Burgbacher.
