.Softball teams will be playing in the Logan County Softball League.

.Majors (11 and 12 year olds) and 1st Farm (9 and 10 year olds) will be playing in the Logan County Baseball League.

.T-Ball and 2nd Farm will still play “in-house”.

.Tryouts are this Saturday, March 13. Majors is 8am, 1st Farm is 8:30am, and 2nd Farm is 9am.

The following release contains some information about the move to the Logan County Baseball League:

The Logan County Baseball Association met Sunday, February 28, 2021 and voted to allow the Kenton Little League to enter teams into their Little League and Farm League divisions.

These are the highlights as to how the move will affect the players.

Applicable to both divisions:

.Kenton teams will play half of their games at Home Run Memorial Park here in Kenton and half of
their games at various association fields in Logan County.

.Games will begin the week of May 10th and run through the end of June. Postseason tournaments will
begin on or about July 5th. The season will consist of 16 scheduled games.

.League age for players will be the age of the player on 4/30/2021.

.Our players will still be part of the Kenton Little League. They will play for Kenton Little League teams.

They will no longer play for teams like the “Reds” or “Indians” but will be Kenton Little League.

Applicable to 1st Farm (Farm League Division):

.Players ages 9- and 10-years-old.

.All Little League Minor League rules will be enforced with some exceptions.
Applicable to Majors (Little League Division):

.Players age 11- and 12-years-old.

.All Little League Intermediate (50/70) rules will be enforced with some exceptions.

We are NOT considering moving our Tee Ball teams or 2nd Farm teams.

They will continue to play “in house” as they have always done.

Tryouts will take place in the Kenton City School Fieldhouse (new athletic building) Saturday, March 13 as follows:

.8:00am – Majors and any 1st Farm player wishing to move up to Majors.

.8:30am – 1st Farm and any 2nd Farm player wishing to move up to 2nd Farm.

.9:00am – 2nd Farm.

.Players should wear tennis shoes (no cleats) and bring their glove.

The Kenton Little League Board is striving to do what is best for the League and the development of our players.
