Kenton Man Accused of Stealing Electric Service from Kenton Business

A theft of services incident was reported to Kenton police Sunday afternoon.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to Save-A-Lot on Decatur Street where they were told a suspect who lived in a nearby house, connected a power cord to an outlet at the store and used it to power appliances inside his residence.

It is not known how many days the power was used or what the cash value was for the power that was used.

81 year old Franklin Coyer was issued a summons for theft.
