A Kenton man was arrested following an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon at a Kenton business.


According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the Kenton Marathon on North Detroit Street after a panic alarm was activated.


Upon investigation, it was learned that a suspect attempted to rob the store at knife point.


The alarm came in just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, and around 6 o'clock that evening, the suspect was located at a residence on Township Road 125.


27 year old Gage A. Sheldon was arrested and transported to the Multi-County Jail in Marion.


He is facing felony charges of aggravated robbery.
