A 30 year old Kenton man has been arrested as a suspect in the arson fires from this past Saturday morning.
According to Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser, Dustin Cannode was taken into custody on a parole violation late Wednesday afternoon at a residence in Kenton. Charges connected to the arson fires are pending.
Chief Musser said several leads were received during the process of the investigation that lead to the suspect.
He credited Detective Mike Conley and the Hardin County Fire and Explosion Team for their hard work in the case.
Four fires were set at homes on Leighton, Walnut, Tracey and Leonard Streets. Two of the homes were occupied, but there were no injuries.
