Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb stated that the city is working to keep up with the dreaded potholes that are prevalent this time of year.

She told the Morning Buzz team this morning that right now, all they can do is cold patch them until the weather improves and a more durable hot mix can be used.

Mayor Webb stated that city crews work ward by ward and focus on high priority areas, “Whether it’s in the downtown, we try to really keep around the hospital for ambulances going in and out of their drive. It’s always a constant. We don’t like to have to go back and do them all either, but to get through this timeframe until we get the good hot mix and tar, this is what we have to deal with.”
