Kenton Pool Now Set to Open on Saturday

Opening day for the Kenton Swimming Pool has been delayed by a day.

After being forced to postpone opening due to low air and water temperatures over the Memorial Day weekend, the Kenton Swimming Pool was set to open for the season Friday, however the temperature of the water is still too low.

The hope is that with sun and temperatures in the 80’s on Friday, that will solve that problem.

The plan is now for the pool to open this Saturday from 1-7pm.

Temperatures will be in the mid 80’s on Saturday and upper 80’s on Sunday, and both days will be sunny.

The daily individual admission is $5.00.

5 years and under are free.

Individual seasonal membership can be purchased for $50.

A family season pass for up to 5 members cost $150 and $10 for each additional family member.

Senior couple passes for 65 and over cost $75.
