Kenton Safety Service Director Cindy Murray is reminding residents about the City’s electrical aggregation program.

The price with IGS as the supplier is good through May this year.

Murray is encouraging residents to check their bill to find out their current electricity supplier and what they are paying.

All bills come from AEP, who is the service provider, but consumers may choose who supplies the electricity to the utility.

Residents may opt-in or out of the City’s aggregation program at anytime with no penalty should rates go down.

Information on how to opt-in to the program may be found on the City’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CityofKenton, at the municipal building or at the water office.
