The Kenton City Schools Board of Education announced this morning their choice for the next superintendent.
In a release, board members stated they intend to hire Chad Thrush at a special meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, May 26.
Thrush has been a part of the district for 12 years, 6 of those years serving as high school principal.
The Board is looking forward to working with Thrush and continuing the momentum that has been created by Dr. Jennifer Penczarski.
