Kenton Suffers First Loss of Season in Boys Soccer Game Thursday

Celina edged Kenton 1-0 Thursday in Boys Soccer action.

Kenton traveled to Celina for the WBL showdown.

Celina scored on an own goal with 26 minutes left in the game. Brent Rader recorded 2 saves in goal for the Cats.

Kenton falls to 5-1-1 on the season and 1-1 in WBL play.

The JV Cats defeated Celina 4-0 and improved to 5-0 (2-0) WBL play on the season.

Colby Quay, Kenny Hastings, Wyatt Gerlach and Caden Bolling had goals for the Cats. Wyatt Gerlach, Kyle Kirk and Colby Quay had assists on the night.

Devin Miller recorded the shout out for the Cats.

Both teams are back in action on Tuesday.

The jv play Arlington at 5pm and the varsity plays at 7pm against Defiance.
