A longtime Kenton Times reporter was one of two people who were killed in a drowning that occurred at Cowen Lake in Clinton County.

Kendrick Jesionowski was reported missing on Monday by his son.

The investigation led authorities to discover a vehicle in about 10 feet of water on Tuesday.

The vehicle was pulled from the lake Tuesday evening and two bodies were found inside.

Cincinnati television station WLWT reported today that they were identified by the Clinton County Coroner as 50 year old Kendrick Jesionowski, of Kenton, and 57 year old Lisa Lynne Reiss, of Marysville.

The two were in Clinton County for an event at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington.

Jesionowski has been a reporter with the Kenton Times for over 20 years.

He has covered mostly sporting events, but he has also covered news around the area.

He leaves behind two sons.

The incident remains under investigation by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
