An opportunistic offense coupled with a suffocating defense was the winning formula for the Kenton Wildcats as they got past Bath 20-6 Friday night at Bath Stadium.
The win was the first of the season for Kenton & the first career victory for Wildcat head coach Zach Turner.
Kenton (1-2 overall, 1-1 Western Buckeye League) held Bath (0-3, 0-2) to just a pair of field goals and found enough offense to get the victory.
Tim Wilkinson rushed for 89 yards and a score on 23 attempts while also snagging four passes for 91 yards and a TD. Korbin Johnston threw the scoring pass to Wilkinson and also rushed for a touchdown.
Wilkinson & Carter Heydinger were named the Ace Hardware Players of the Game.
