Kenton Wildcats Shine at 2025 Western Buckeye League Swim Championships, Set Two School Records

The Kenton Wildcat Swim teams competed at the 2025 Western Buckeye League Swim Championships this past Saturday at the Lima YMCA.

The Boys’ team scored a 5th place finish and the Girls’ team finished 7th.

Two new school records for Kenton High School were also set during the recent meet.

The Boys 400 Free Relay team of Sawyer Buxton, Dillon Dulin, Gatlin Davis and Tommy Mustain finished 2nd in the event with a new school record time of 3:39.58.

Wildcat Sophomore Sawyer Buxton set a new school record in the 500 free and finished 2nd with a time of 5:23.69.

The Wildcats host the Ada Bulldogs today at the Hardin County YMCA for their annual Senior Night meet.
