The Kenton Wildcats track and field team delivered several impressive performances at the Bath Invitational on Friday, with multiple athletes earning top-five finishes in their respective events.
The girls 4×800 meter relay team, consisting of Addi Haudenschield, Addy Manns, and Quinlyn Spearman, captured 2nd place. Manns also secured 4th place in the 3200-meter run.
On the boys’ side, Gavin Sealscott placed 5th in the 100-meter dash and was part of the 4×200 relay team—along with Tommy Mustain, Gary Phipps, and Garraden Wirbel—that took 4th place. Mustain also claimed 2nd place in the pole vault.
Bill Wilkinson delivered a strong showing in the field events, finishing 2nd in discus and 4th in shot put.
In the overall team standings, the Kenton boys finished 7th out of 12 teams, while the girls placed 9th out of 11.
