Kenton Woman Cited After Crash in Downtown Kenton Tuesday

A Kenton woman escaped with minor injuries after a crash in downtown Kenton Tuesday morning.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, 67 year old Karen Kindle ran a red light at Detroit Street while traveling west on Columbus Street.

Her car was struck by a southbound semi being operated by 66 year old George Simms, of Canada.

Disabling damage occurred to the car, and Kindle was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Functional damage occurred to the semi.

Simms was not injured.

Kindle was cited for a red light violation.
