Kenton Woman Cited Following Union County Crash

A Kenton woman was cited following a crash Monday morning in Union County.

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office report, 26 year old Kelsie Elkins was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation after her car struck the rear of vehicle being operated by 48 year old Daniel Bentley, of Marion, who was stopped for traffic on State Route 739.

Moderate to heavy damage occurred to the vehicles.

Elkins was treated at the scene, and Bentley was not injured.
