Kenton Woman Cited for Failing to Confine Dog

A Kenton woman was cited following two reports of a pit bull running loose in the 700 block of Decatur Street Monday afternoon.

According to information on the Daily Log Sheet at the Kenton Police Department, the first call came at around 4:40pm, when officers were told the dog was chasing children in that area.

A short time later, an officer observed the dog chasing cars on the road.

The owner, identified as Erin Thacker, was issued a summons for failing to confine the dog.
