The Kenton Fire Department is asking for some help to clear snow around fire hydrants in the city.

The recent snow has some of the hydrants covered.

Firefighters say it’s important to have easy access to the hydrants in an emergency since they provide the water source to battle fires.

They ask that if you have a hydrant on your property and you are able to do so, please clear a 3 foot area around the hydrant.
