KHS JROTC visits Bowling Green ROTC
Last week, several Kenton High School JROTC students visited the Army and Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training programs at Bowling Green.
ROTC prepares college students to become commissioned officers in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Space Force.
Kenton students were put through a mini Field Leadership Reaction Course, learned about various career fields in the Army and Air Force, observed the daily life of college cadets and what the programs entail.
They were also briefed on the various 4 year, 3 year, and 2 year scholarship opportunities through these programs.
