A Kenton man is facing charges after Kenton police responded to a report of a vehicle that was stopped at the intersection of South Detroit and Espy Street early Wednesday morning.

 

According to the report, the driver, identified as 26 year old Jared Mullins was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

 

He was also issued a summons for possession of drug abuse instruments.

A theft was reported to Kenton police on Wednesday.

 

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Carrol Street in reference to the theft.

 

An unknown suspect stole around $1600 as well as a debit card, driver’s license and social security card from a Kenton man.

 

The incident is under investigation.
