KPD News from Wednesday Nov 4, 2020

A couple of minor crashes occurred Wednesday evening.

According to information on the Daily Log Sheet of the Kenton Police Department, both of them happened in the 1000 block of East Columbus Street.

The first was reported around 3:15 in front of KFC.

A driver, Kelly Buxton, of Kenton, was cited for a marked lanes violation.

The other crash happened at around 8:10pm in front of Burger King.

A driver, identified as Averie Thomas, of Kenton, was cited for following too closely.

An incident involving menacing was reported to Kenton Police Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 200 block of North Main Street in reference to an unwanted guest.

There were no injuries, and no charges have been filed at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
