One person was arrested after a search warrant was served this week at a residence in Roundhead Township.

According to a release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, the warrant was served at 16925 Township Road 39. Upon searching the location, an active meth lab was discovered.

The Task Force seized 360 grams of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over $10,000. There was also marijuana and heroin seized along with other drug paraphernalia and scales used in the sale of illegal narcotics.

One adult male was arrested at the scene and transported to the Multi County Correctional Center where he is currently being held awaiting arraignment.

Sheriff Everhart issued a statement saying this is by far the single largest seizure of methamphetamine in Task Force history. He said the success of the operation is a credit to the Task Force members who put a lot of time and effort into the case.
