Kenton City council met once again Monday evening. While the proceedings were short three items were passed.

Ordinance 22-023 allows for the sale of the building located at Grove Cemetery. If you are interested in the property the Kenton City Municipal building will have info sheets on the property Monday (Aug. 15).

Ordinance 22-024 allows AEP to extend utility to a pole barn serving Lake of Lights. The barn will have a separate meter paid for by Lake of Lights not the city of Kenton.

Ordinance 22-020 saw the city enter into an agreement for highway improvement on a small strip of State Route 31, free of cost to the city.

Later in the meeting councilwoman Jones reminded the public to get to the city pool while you still can as the final day of operation is this Saturday.
