The Hardin County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Ohio State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies, will be conducting a Traffic Safety Blitz.

Sheriff Keith Everhart said it will be conducted August 16 and 17, "This is going to be a two day crack down on traffic violations in Hardin County. We're going to be focusing on seatbelt use, ovi's, and the thing with the ovi's, we're going to be doing a no refusal weekend, which means if you refuse to take the breath test, we're going to be obtaining search warrants from a judge, and we will be drawing blood, if you are suspected of driving under the influence."
