LCC Knocks Ridgemont Out of Girls Basketball Tournament
The Ridgemont Lady Gophers opened Division 4 Sectional Tournament Action last night at home against the Thunderbirds of Lima Central Catholic.
The Lady Gophers came up a bit short in their quest to beat LCC as the Birds won 48-33.
The Gophers were led in scoring by Brooke Nelson’s 9 points, Amanda Howland had 7, Callie Cromer and Hannah Shoffner had 6 points each and Emma Smith chipped in with 5 points.
It was a record season for the Lady Gophers as their captured their first NWCC crown in 45 years.
Congratulations to the Lady Gopher Basketball team and their coaches Tim Weyant and Keysten Creamer on a great season.
