Leaf Pick Starts Monday in Kenton; City Offers Easy Way to Remember Your Ward

Leaf pick-up in the City of Kenton is set to get started on Monday November 7.

City crews will be in the fourth ward that week.

They will move to the third ward the week of November 14, first ward November 21 and second ward November 28.

For those who are unsure of what ward they live in, the city has released an easy way to remember.

The ward you live in is the day of the week your trash is picked up.

For example, if your trash is picked up on Monday the first day of the work week, you are in the first ward, if it’s Tuesday, the second day, you are in the second ward, third ward if it’s Wednesday and fourth ward if it’s the fourth day of the week on Thursday.
