LEPC Conducts Disaster Drill in Forest

The Local Emergency Planning Committee hosted their annual disaster drill at Triumph Thermal Systems in Forest this week.

First responders and members from the Forest Fire Department, Hardin County Hazmat, Jackson-Forest EMS, Forest Police Department, and Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, along with representation from Hardin County EMA, and Hardin County Commissioners worked with Triumph Thermal employees in a tabletop style exercise.

They had the opportunity to work through a hazardous materials scenario, while being evaluated.

The Hancock County, Wyandot County, Marion County, and Logan County EMA’s evaluated the responders.
