Liberty National Bank Offers Welcome Home Grant

KENTON, Ohio – Ronald L. Zimmerly, Jr., President and CEO of Liberty National Bank, recently announced the Bank’s participation in the Welcome Home Program, which is a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.

The Welcome Home Program was designed to assist eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.

The Welcome Home Program provides up to $5,000 in grant money for low to moderate income homebuyers and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Honorably discharged veterans and active duty military homebuyers may receive Welcome Home grants up to $7,500. Welcome Home funds will be available starting March 1, 2021 and will end when the money is no longer available. In addition to the grant money, Liberty National Bank is waiving ½ of the processing fee for approved first-time homebuyers that qualify for the grant in 2021.
