The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library is about to start the Food for Fines campaign.

Starting November 11 through the end of 2019, anyone who has fines for overdue library items can bring in food instead of cash.

You can bring in any nonperishable food item and receive $1 off for each item given.

All items donated will be donated to Helping Hands Outreach, Neighborhood Opportunity Center, Angels for the Elderly and Bread for Life Food Pantry, all of Hardin County.

For more information, call the library at 419-673-2278.
