Lima Man Injured in Crash of Two Semis Monday Morning

A Lima man was injured in a crash involving two semis in Wyandot County Monday morning.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, a semi being operated by 50 year old Terry Routson drifted to the right while travelling north on U.S. 23.

The vehicle sideswiped a semi that had pulled to the side of road after the driver, 35 year old Yassin Omar, of Minnesota, said he heard a noise coming from his truck.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

Routson was taken by helicopter to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was cited for failure to control.
