Lima Police Department Summer Academy Kicked Off This Week
The opening day for the Lima Police Department Summer Academy was held this past Tuesday at Lima Senior High School.
On the first day, Chief Kevin Martin gave the opening statements.
K9 King and Officer Torres then presented a demonstration.
Students also participated in how officers conduct themselves when approaching pedestrians on the street, traffic stops, and a shoot or no shoot simulator.
