Angel Forester competed at the HOSA (Future Health Professionals) International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN from June 21-25.

She represented the Kenton Ohio Hi-Point Allied Health and Nursing Program taught by Mrs. Bookmyer at Kenton High School. Over 10,000 students and advisors attended the conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center where competitive events focused on leadership, professional and technical skills. Angel competed in the Physical Therapy event and placed in the top 30 students to move onto the clinical round.

Her journey to reach internationals started with a 1st place ribbon at the regional competition at the University of Toledo in January and 3rd place at the state competition in Columbus in March.

She is grateful to the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Main Campus for making this trip possible. Angel traveled with OHP Health Careers Academy advisors Mrs. Newland and Mrs. Lacher along with another student, Kaylee Williams, from their main campus in Bellefontaine.
