Longtime Clerk/Treasurer in Forest Announces Retirement
Village of Forest Clerk/Treasurer Kathy Cain will be retiring at the end of this month.
She has provided services for the Village of Forest just shy of 30 years.
She started out as the utility/tax billing clerk and was elected to the Fiscal Officer position after the retirement of Jennie Shultis and has held that title ever since.
Cain has been active in the community for many years with the VFW, VFW Auxiliary, Friends of the Library, and has also served as Clerk for the Village of Patterson for several years.
At her request, the village will not be holding an open house.
However, a card shower will be held in her honor.
