Man Arrested After Foot Pursuit in Findlay

Officers from the Findlay Police Department were dispatched to investigate several suspicious people behind a closed business on Tiffin Avenue late Tuesday night.

According to a release, while attempting to identify the subjects and determine what they were doing, one subject took off running.

Officers began a foot pursuit of the subject as he ran south toward some apartments and then east along the rear of the apartment building at 1810 Queenswood Dr.

The subject then ran south along the east side of that apartment building, back to the west between two buildings, south west through the parking lot and then north again where Officers were able to catch the subject and detain him.

The subject was found to have two active warrants for his arrest through other nearby agencies.

It was then determined that the subjects vehicle was in the parking lot behind Rancho Fiesta.

A bag of Marijuana was found laying on the hood of the vehicle in plain view.

Inside the vehicle in plain view another bag with suspected drugs and two handguns were located.

One of the handguns was found to be listed as Stolen from Detroit, MI.

The male was incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property – Firearm (F4) and Obstruction of Official Business (M2). The suspected drugs will be sent for testing and if applicable, charges will be filed on them at a later date.

He was identified as 24 year old Findlay resident, K’Caleeb Gonzales.

The other subjects on scene were released with no charges.
