One person has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of two people in Bellefontaine early Sunday morning.
WPKO radio reported that 30 year old Juan Corio-Chavez was arrested on two counts of felonious assault in connection to the stabbing of Oscar Hernandez and Javier Mendoza inside an apartment the three shared.
After being stabbed, Hernandez was bleeding when he walked into the Walmart store for help. He was taken by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital.
Mendoza was transported by friends to Mary Rutan Hospital, and he was transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Alcohol was a factor, but no motive was given for the stabbings.
