Man Convicted on Multiple Charges Following Jury Trial

A McGuffey man was convicted on numerous charges following a five day jury trial in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

 

According to documents filed at the Clerk of Courts, Carrie Haudenshield’s, office:

 

Charles Hinkle was found guilty to aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of failure to stop after an accident, operating a vehicle under the influence and two counts of domestic violence.

 

The jury began deliberations Tuesday evening and returned the verdicts Wednesday afternoon.

 

Hinkle was indicted on the charges in September for the incident that occurred in July of this year in which he struck his fiance with his car resulting in life threatening injuries.

 

Hinkle will be sentenced on January 9, 2020.
