Marion County Sheriff Matt Bayles announced the Deputy, Dispatcher and Civilian of the Year winners on Wednesday.
The 2021 Deputy of the Year is Jesse Allen, who has been with Marion County Sheriff’s Office since 2016.
The Dispatcher of the Year is Daniel Werling, who began his career with the Marion Police Department in 2007.
He transitioned to the Central Dispatch Center in 2016.
The 2021 Civilian of the Year is Mandy Barr, who has served as the Concealed Handgun License and Webcheck Clerk since 2016.
Sheriff Bayles said, “Each of these award recipients worked tirelessly last year and are a vital part of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Marion Community in which they serve.”
